Instalation of Linux client step-by-step - Winflector 3.2
First we need to install the Winflector server on the computer where shared applications reside. Look at: server installation step-by-step.
Now on a Linux computer (client) you can install the Winflector thin client (the installation process is the same for version 3.1 and 3.2). Note: you need to install the client only once, later it will automatically update itself.
Now run the previously published Windows application from Linux computer:
The application runs on Linux as if it were installed locally, while really it is executed on the server, and only the screen is displayed on a remote computer (see more). Now, there is no need of Wine HQ software to run the Windows application on Linux.
