Hello
I am testing your program, and it looks good. But I do have some questions.
I had a problem wit AD Authentication. I installed the server module at the AD Standalone server. I checked "Active directory Authentication".
When I try to start my application. I received the following error message: (pls see picture attached)
The user is member of domain admins group.
With the Winflector Authentication everything works fine!
Any suggestions?

Hello,
Do you have checked 'Authenticate only members of the groups below' checkbox in server preferences? If so, please uncheck it. Try to fill 'Domain 1' and PDC (Primary Domain Controller) fields.
If it does not help, please send us all server and application logs (trmactiv.log, trmlogin.log and tapplog.txt).

Dear Mirek,
I forgot to tell in the previous post that I checked all this, the check - box is unchecked, I also declare the domain and PDC.
Result is the same.
Is there any log file, that I can check what happens?

More information from today: I checked the trmlogin.log file into server folder.
These are the errors:
0. zgabrovski ADDR:192.168.0.70 LOGIN OK 01.07.2011 10:06:15 0. zgabrovski ADDR:192.168.0.70 LOGOUT ERROR 01.07.2011 10:06:15 Can't start application 0. zgabrovski ADDR:192.168.0.70 LOGIN OK 01.07.2011 10:12:04 0. zgabrovski ADDR:192.168.0.70 LOGOUT ERROR 01.07.2011 10:12:04 Can't start application
It seems that the server authenticates the user, but can not start the application.
With the winflector user name and password everithing is OK.

Please send log files to support@winflector.com. We have to analyze them a little bit deeper. In the server directory find:
trmactiv.log
trmlogin.log
and in the subdirectory 'applogs' find:
tapplog.txt
Please pack them with zip or rar and send via e-mail.

On Windows 2008 server:
It looks like your application or system runs 64-bit process (splwow64.exe) which is not supported in this version of Winflector. The next version will support native 64-bit processes.
On Windows 2003 server:
Try to add the username you use for application to log in to 'Winflector users' group.

Dear Mirek,
In my investigations, I found that the error with a splwow64.exe process becomes when I tried to work with a user account, that is not administrator of the machine. All this is because you can not create this manifest file, because the non - administrative account has no rights to write in c:\windows folder.
But the main problem is not this. The main problem is an exception raised in this cnetlib.dll library, please check the last e-mail I sent you. The problem appears when I tried to opean a fast-report preview screen in my banking application, written in Delhi 2007. What is strange for me is that from some workstation it works, but from other - does no work.
My plans is to use Winflector as application server, instead of MS Terminila services. But I can not for the moment because of this. My oppinion is that there is some problem with this Fast report preview screen beause of the printer device or screen device, I don't know.
Do you have a customer, using your application server for more than 100 workstations?

Hello Zdravko,
As I have written in a direct message we will send you pre-relase of version 3.1 for testing and will keep working on version 3.1 to make your application run succesfully.
Do you have a customer, using your application server for more than 100 workstations?
The number of applications you can run simultaneously on a single application server depends on the server performance and on the application type. Reporting applications tend to place a high load on CPU and memory. On the other hand, data-entry applications are not so resource-intensive. In general, we suggest to test the application to check the number of users which can run on the single server. For such test we can make available a time-limited Winflector version for a required number of devices/users.
According to my experience, for 100 users of typical banking GUI appllication, you will need two servers.
