Hello,
I've installed Winflector on a Windows XP VPC for testing, but I'me getting an error message no matter what EXE i try and share. From the Client ( running Windows 7 pro ) , when I click on the EXE link in Winflectors Apllications tab, i get :-
error 78: invilad or insufficant gte.exe parameters -use 'gte -help'. Loc [WinMain ()] info [gte.exe] syserr [0]
please can someone tell me what im doing incorrect ? |

Which version of Winflector server you have installed? If the latest one, please make a shortcut to any application from applications tab on your client desktop (without encryption), open shortcut properties, copy target path together with all parameters and send it to us. We will check it and try to help you. Or, if the version is one of the older, please download the latest one and reinstall the server. |

Hello, I have download the latest version to trial. I have tried it with several Applications, all getting the same error message. I am currently trying it with Adobe Reader :-
TARGET = "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" Ive also being trying it with a MApped Netowrked Application (same error ) :-
Target = \\SUNSVR\Sun426\SUN32.exe Start in = \\SUNSVR\Sun426\

Please create a desktop icon for Acrobat Reader as shown on the first and second attached image. Then go to the created icon and diplay its properties. Send us the contents of 'Target' field (as shown on the third image).

Hi Bozena/Mirek, I've been trying to set the application up via the SERVER DATA window on the machine I have the Server software installed on. I've been doing it by clicking the APPLICATIONS button anf theh + ADD NEW APPLICATION. is this incorrect ( as it was the only way I could see of making programs viable in the Client window )

Hello, the screenshots on the page you have pointed me to do not match thw winflector windows that pop up when I have installed the latest version from the site. I have got to what I beleiev to be the correct loctions for adding a new application, but this is no Browse option button available ( so I have cut and pasted the directory path from a desktop shourtcut on the Server MAchine, but I still get the same error message |

It is really strange you are not able to browse for applications. The attached pictures come from Winflector 3.4.1.0. Please press 'Add new application' button, and, on the next window the button with description '[...]', as shown on the second picture.

You will see the Browse button only when you call WM Tool locally, i.e. with button 'Preferences' on the Winflector server main window. |
