Hi there

We are evaluating Winflector for using in our company. I have installed the Winflector server and 1 Winflector client. It works fine but we have an issue. Our app has some feature to create/open/edit some office documents. For that it uses Excel.exe and Word.exe installed on server

When our app opens the office doc (eg. xlsx), the Excel app opens correctly on client, but our app dissapears. If I check on the server the current session (server monitor), our app is replaced by the Office app. Even if the client closes the office doc, the Excel.exe remains in the server monitor

Can you help us with this issue ? One app cannot start a second app ?

It is not the expected behaviour. Please pack and send the server logs to support@winflector.com.

The log files were sent to the support

P.S. I have noticed in the log files en error

Error   35: Not supported (yet). Loc [SetWindowPos]

I have to mention that we set a certain position on screen to the opened Office app

So, it is something wrong in my configuration ? Or the problem is somewhere else ?

I have tested also on other server with other router (other LAN) and the problem persisted, so it is not a hardware problem

We have to make a decision in our company. Winflector looks as a good option for us, especially because it does not use the RDP protocol (like other products). But working with the Office apps is mandatory for us.
