Hello

I am trying to use WinFlector for running an application from a computer (acting as the server) to a remote laptop (acting as the client).

 

On the server the software works just fine. However, on the client notebook, the software raises the error shown on the cuptured screen attached. Also, the skin of the apllication is wrong. All this information is in the application configuration file. It seems that for some reason this file is not loaded correctly, or at all.

 

Do anyone have a solution on that?

Hello there,

I'm also a Winflector user (not official technical support then) and I would recommend you doing this:

- Download and run ProcMon in your server: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon

- In ProcMon, filter the events to your application: Process Name = YourApplication.exe

- Start you application from the Winflector client

- Check what files does your application access while starting, looking for YourApplication.exe.config. This will show from what directory it might be searching at and give you a glimpse on what's going on.
