I see that the MAC version of winflector is still in test. What I need is only the client.
How stable is the MAC client?
When do you expect a general release?

After our internal tests we can say the Mac client is mostly operational. But the tests cover only applications we use for testing. Native client is a fairly complicated piece of software. For Mac it additionally includes mapping of some Windows functionality to OSX. We think the best idea is to test the solution with applications you need to access remotely. If you find any problems just report and we will fix them ASAP. While we call it a "test version" we provide the support and fix the reported problems related to OSX client.

I wanted to report some issues with the mac client. I have Winflector running on a Windows 10 VM, and when using the osx client, with Microsoft .NET applications most of the functionality is not there. For example, I have a application that allows me to select a item from a list, and right-click for a menu. From the web client it works, from the OSX client the portion of the screen to select the item, is gray and no selections are allowed. I will be happy to share screen shots. the forum says Inappropriate file format when I try to upload the png files. |

Mike, Thank you for your bug report. Does the selection from a list work and is it only the popup menu which should be displayed after a right-click which does not work? We suspect we have a problem with Z-ordering the windows, that means that the popup menu is displayed under your main window. If uploading the screenshots to the forum does not work then please email them to support@winflector.com |
