Have received this error when trying to connect to the server thru a D-Link DIR-655 router. I have TCP port 6601 forwarded to my target PC. I have Winflector host running on the target PC. I have one user defined and one application defined and the user has access to all applications. What suggestions for debugging? This has worked in the past on a LAN based configuration. Bob |

I do not know what exactly error number you have received, but temporary try to turn off firewalls on the router and on the Winflector server machine. I understand that on the client side you used the router external IP address instead of Winflector server internal IP address. |

Problem was that there was another routing process that had to be port forwarded. It was part of the Comcast digital modem. Once that was forwarded to the LInksys router, it works. Bob |
