In terms of performance WF seems snappy and responsive. Better than any other virtualization S/W we have tested.
We want to publish a large complex Microsoft ACcess-based app, which has a large client/user base in two countries. (about 600 users). However we cannot successfully evaluate it due to a misunderstanding about "sessions" versus "users".
Using the free 2-user demo, we start our app with no problem. But the app contains several Microsoft office "graph" objects, which operate through OLE, and a lot of activex controls. Each graph seems to increase the "session" count, although the "connection" count remains at 1.
When the session count reaches 4, the application stops responding. Buttons stop working.
Task Manager then shows 4 instances of wfc.exe running. Manually ending 3 of these processes does not help. Killing sessions from the server does not help. The only thing to do is completely end the first wfc.exe process from task manager, thus killing the app and the session.
We tried your suggestion about -knvoff in guiapp.cfg but it makes no difference.
We are just trying to run one app on one client, and we cannot. WHat can be done?
Thanks for your suggestions.
