We have identified a problem affecting some applications running remotely on a Winflector Server with Windows 11 after installing the KB5124008 update. The symptoms include no response or incorrect behavior of context menus opened with the right mouse button. In some cases, the problem may also cause the application to terminate. The problem does not depend on the type of Winflector client being used — it occurs with both the Native Client and the HTML5 client.

We are working on a Winflector update that will provide proper handling of the changed Windows 11 behavior.

Temporary workaround

Until the fix is available, the KB5124008 update can be temporarily uninstalled from the Windows 11 server.

In Windows 11, go to:

Settings → Windows Update → Update history → Uninstall updates

Then locate KB5124008, select it and click Uninstall. A computer restart may be required after uninstalling the update.
